TapoCam1 Archive privacy policy
Effective 25 October 2026. TapoCam1 Archive is a personal utility operated by the device owner for their own camera archive.
Google account data
The app requests the Google Drive drive.file permission to create, read, verify and manage files it creates or that the owner explicitly opens with it. It checks Drive storage usage to report available capacity. It does not request access to unrelated Drive files, contacts, email or Google passwords.
Storage and transfers
Google authorization credentials are stored encrypted in app-private storage on the Xiaomi TV using Android Keystore. Uploaded files are sent directly from the device to Google Drive over HTTPS. A connection check uploads a small synthetic text file. Camera recordings will be uploaded only when the recording feature is configured by the owner.
This information website does not receive Google credentials or recordings. Cloudflare hosts these public pages and may process normal HTTP request metadata for hosting and security. Google processes uploaded content under the owner's Google account terms.
Use and sharing
Google user data is used only for the requested archive and verification functions. It is not sold, used for advertising, shared with other users, or used to train AI models. TapoCam1 Archive's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Control, deletion and retention
The owner can delete uploaded files in Google Drive and revoke this app through their Google account's third-party connections settings. Clearing this app's data removes its locally stored credentials. Clearing app data does not delete uploaded files. Automatic recording retention is not currently enabled; any future rolling deletion policy will apply only to the app's managed archive and will be configured by the owner.
